Rajasthan heritage tours(I-27)

Day 01 :- Arrive Delhi.
Upon arrival in Delhi you shall be transferred to your hotel. You shall then have a Tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi, you shall visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi visit the Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings. Overnight in Delhi

Day 02 :- Delhi Udaipur
This morning after breakfast, you shall be transferred to Delhi airport for flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival at Udaipur you shall be received and taken to your hotel in Udaipur for check in. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 03 :- Udaipur
This morning after breakfast you shall carry out sightseeing in Udaipur, you shall visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion ki bari and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, you shall then Drive past Fatehsagar Lake. Optional group boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 04 :- Udaipur Jodhpur Ranakpur
This morning drive from Udaipur to Jodhpur (260kms / 6 hours) enroute visiting the temple at Ranakpur. Upon arrival in Jodhpur check in to hotel and then afternoon visit to the grand Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight at Jodhpur

Day 05 :- Jodhpur Pushkar
Upon arrival you shall check in to your hotel and then visit the holy Lake and also the famous and only Brahma Temple in the world. Pushkar is one of the holiest places for Hindus and is a great insight into Hindu culture and also a city flocked by visitors from all over the world. Overnight in Pushkar.

Day 06 :- Pushkar Jaipur
This morning you shall drive from Puskhar to Jaipur (Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 07 :- Jaipur
Today, carry out a full day sightseeing of Jaipur including visits to Amber Fort, the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors. Post Lunch, afternoon tour of Jaipur. You shall then visit the Maharaja's City Palace, & the Observatory and drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas of the city. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 08 :- Jaipur Fatehpur Sikri Agra
Drive from Jaipur to Agra (240kms / 6hrs) enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and as the Mughal Capital and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. The graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces are a great sight. Drive further 40 kms / 1 hour to Agra and check in to hotel. Overnight in Agra

Day 09 :- Agra
Early Morning visit world famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later, visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience and the palace where Shahjahan’s own son, Aurangzeb imprisoned him in a cell with a view of the Taj. Late evening at leisure. Overnight in Agra. Taj Mahal is closed on Friday.

Day 10 :- Agra Delhi
Departure from Agra in time for International Departure flight back home. No hotel arrangements.
